This is not the most obvious itinerary, but it promises a lot of wine and delicious food!
The Basque Country is incredibly rich in culture, scenery, and gastronomy. You can enjoy La Rioja on the way to Barcelona and delight yourself in the wine tastings of the region.
Of course, we will adapt your journey to your taste, but this is an inspiration itinerary that will blow your mind (and paladar)!
DAY 1
Arrival at San Sebastián
Meet your luggage assistant and your private transfer to the perfect accommodation for you. At night, enjoy a San Sebastián Lifestyle Tour with Pintxos Tasting, experiencing the authentic Spanish lifestyles as your host whisks you off to one of their favorite pintxos spots.
DAY 2
Pilgrim for the Day: Hike the Camino the Santiago
As you traverse a section of this ancient and historic walking path that connects France to the sacred city of Santiago de Compostela, enjoy the fantastic coastal views and lush, hilly terrain.
DAY 3
Plencia, Bilbao & La Rioja
Make two interesting stops on your way to La Rioja. The first one is a visit & wine tasting at the world´s first submarine wine cellar. Then a guided visit to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Finally, arrive at your hotel in La Rioja.
DAY 4
Exclusive Visit to One of the Oldest Wineries in Europe with owner
Trace Spain’s legacy of wine in this visit to a winery owned by a family of Spanish aristocracy. Join a local Marquis winemaker for an exclusive tour exploring the off-limits grounds and learn why this wine was deemed special enough to be baptized with the noble family title.
DAY 5
Santo Domingo de la Calzada, San Milán de la Cogolla & Barcelona
Before you take your train to Barcelona, enjoy a private guided tour to Santo Domingo de la Calzada and San Milán de la Cogolla, diving deep into the history of the north of Spain. After arriving in Barcelona, be private transferred to your next-level accommodation.
DAY 6
Traditional Aperitivo & Vermouth Experience and The Architecture of Antoni Gaudi Tour
Meet your insider host and be taken into a time-honored tradition to the locals, the “hora del vermut”, with vermouth paired with aperitivos. Then enjoy the afternoon visiting Antoni Gaudí’s best works.
DAY 7
Dalí Theater-Museum & Spanish Cooking lesson
Today you will be treated to an authentic taste of the best Catalan art and cuisine, starting with a visit to the mind-boggling Dalí Theater-Museum and finishing with a renowned chef welcoming you into their traditional house for a hands-on cooking lesson.

Depart from Barcelona
